JFK Meet & Greet — Your Driver Waiting in the Arrivals Hall
Land at JFK and walk straight to your driver. Meet & greet with name sign, flight tracking & 60-min grace after landing. Included with private bookings.
The easiest JFK arrival is one where you never have to look for your ride. With our meet & greet service, your driver is standing in the arrivals hall with a name sign when you walk out — no shuttle buses, no rideshare pickup zones, no phone tag at the curb.
Meet & greet is included with every private booking from JFK Airport Shuttle. Call [PLACEHOLDER — TO REPLACE: (718) 555-0142] (24/7) or book online and request it at checkout.
How Meet & Greet Works
- You share your flight number when booking. Our flight tracking monitors it from takeoff to touchdown.
- Your driver arrives early and positions at the arrivals hall for your terminal before you land.
- You walk out and look for the name sign — your driver holds a sign with your name (or your company name, if you prefer discretion).
- Driver assists with luggage and walks you directly to the vehicle, parked at the terminal’s private pickup area.
Terminal Meeting Points
JFK’s terminals each have a designated arrivals hall. Your driver waits at the standard meeting area for your terminal:
- Terminal 1 — Arrivals hall, near the information desk after the baggage claim exit. (International arrivals — see customs note below.)
- Terminal 4 — Arrivals hall on the ground level, near the main information desk and the baggage claim exits. JFK’s busiest international terminal.
- Terminal 5 — Arrivals hall near the baggage claim exits; your driver positions by the main exit flow toward ground transportation.
- Terminal 7 — Arrivals hall, near the information desk past baggage claim.
- Terminal 8 — Arrivals hall near the baggage claim exits and information area.
General rule: if you don’t spot your driver immediately, head toward the information desk or the main baggage claim exit of the arrivals hall — that’s where our drivers wait. Your confirmation text includes your driver’s name and phone number, so you can call directly.
Terminal layouts change with construction; if a meeting point shifts, your driver texts you the exact spot before you land.
Flight Tracking Tie-In
Your flight details aren’t just noted — they’re actively tracked:
- Delays: the driver adjusts automatically. A 2-hour delay means the driver arrives 2 hours later, not 2 hours early. You are never charged waiting time for airline delays.
- Early arrivals: same deal in reverse — we see the updated ETA and the driver is there on time.
- 60-minute grace after landing: the clock on your pickup starts when you land, and you have a full 60 minutes before any waiting considerations apply. That’s enough for deplaning, baggage claim, and the walk to the hall.
- Cancellations/diversions: call dispatch and we’ll re-plan around the new flight at no rebooking fee.
Domestic vs. International Arrivals
Domestic arrivals are straightforward: deplane, grab your bag, walk to the hall. Most passengers reach the driver within 20–30 minutes of landing.
International arrivals take longer — immigration, baggage claim, and customs can add 45–90 minutes depending on the terminal and time of day. We plan for it:
- The driver times the hall arrival to your realistic exit time, not your landing time, based on live terminal conditions.
- The 60-minute grace period starts at landing, and we do not start any waiting clock while you’re in the customs process — your driver waits as long as it takes for delayed international arrivals.
- If you’re traveling with family or a group arriving on the same flight, one name sign covers the whole party.
Heading into Manhattan or Brooklyn? Your driver already has the route planned before you reach the car.
Included With Private Bookings
Meet & greet isn’t an upsell — it’s part of every private transfer we run:
- JFK airport car service — sedans & SUVs, flat all-in rates
- JFK limo service — stretch limos & luxury vehicles
- Sprinter van service — groups up to 14
- Hourly chauffeur service — as-directed, from $85/hr
- Group transportation — coordinated multi-vehicle arrivals
To request it, just include your flight number when you book — or mention it when you call [PLACEHOLDER — TO REPLACE: (718) 555-0142]. No flight number, no problem: tell us your terminal and scheduled landing time and we’ll still have a driver in the hall.
What to Do If You Can’t Find Your Driver
It happens — a crowded arrivals hall at Terminal 4 during the evening international bank can be chaotic. Here’s the procedure:
- Check your texts. Your driver sends a message before you land with the exact meeting spot and a description.
- Head to the information desk or main baggage claim exit of your terminal’s arrivals hall — the standard meeting areas listed above.
- Call the driver’s direct number from your confirmation. Drivers answer immediately during a scheduled pickup.
- Call dispatch at [PLACEHOLDER — TO REPLACE: (718) 555-0142] as backup — 24/7, and they can see exactly where your driver is standing.
In practice, missed connections are rare: the name sign, the pre-landing text, and the direct phone number make the handoff straightforward even in a packed terminal.
FAQ
Q: Where exactly do I meet the driver?
A: In the arrivals hall of your terminal, near the information desk or the main baggage claim exit. Your driver holds a name sign with your name. Your booking confirmation includes the driver’s name and direct phone number, plus a text with the exact meeting spot sent before you land.
Q: What if my flight is early or delayed?
A: Flight tracking handles both automatically — the driver adjusts to the actual arrival time, so early or late, someone is in the hall when you walk out. Airline delays never trigger waiting charges, and you get 60 minutes of grace after landing.
Q: Is there an extra charge for meet & greet?
A: No. Meet & greet with a name sign is included in every private booking at no extra cost.
Q: How does it work for international arrivals with customs?
A: The driver plans around the full customs process — immigration, baggage, customs inspection — and waits in the arrivals hall as long as it takes. International arrivals routinely take 45–90 minutes after landing; we don’t start any waiting clock while you’re clearing customs. Just have your flight number on the booking so tracking can follow you in.
